Odum Library is a federal and state depository library with government document collections that are open to the VSU community as well as the public.
WiFi is accessible throughout Odum Library.
New Media Center
New Media Center provides the VSU community with a wide variety of traditional av and digital equipment for check out purposes.
Odum Library is the heart of Valdosta State University. We are located at the south end of the pedestrian walkway, between the Student Union and the Lowndes and Brown residence halls. Library materials are available for students, faculty, staff and community members to use. The library collection includes approximately 530,000 volumes, electronic and print journals, government documents, microform, and audio-visual materials, as well as numerous maps, charts, and archival resources. The library currently subscribes to numerous print magazines, journals and newspapers and has more than 64,000 full text online journals available through GALILEO. Students, faculty, and staff also have access to all eligible circulating materials at all USG libraries through the Universal Catalog and GIL Express.
