VSU Volunteers Offer Free Income Tax Preparation Assistance
Faculty and students from Valdosta State University’s School of Accountancy and Mu Zeta chapter of Beta Alpha Psi are ready to support underserved populations across South Georgia by providing federal and state tax return preparation and electronic filing services. To qualify for this free community service, taxpayers must have a household income of less than $68,675 for the year.

VSU’s “A Christmas Carol” Named Best Play by Broadway World Tallahassee
Valdosta State University Theatre & Dance’s seasonal production of “A Christmas Carol” is the winner of Broadway World Tallahassee’s 2025 Best Play Award. It was adapted for the local stage by Ian Anderson, associate professor of theatre and interim head of the VSU’s Department of Communication Arts.
