Amanda Thompson

Amanda Thompson is originally from Blackshear, Georgia. A two-time product of the University System of Georgia (University of West Georgia and Valdosta State University), she has worked in higher education post-undergraduate since 2011 at various institutions. She is pleased to continue ensuring residents have a positive and memorable experience while living on campus in our residence halls.

In her spare time, Amanda enjoys using social media, primarily Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. She loves a good meme, gif, mukbang, dance or beauty video, and most of all joy and laughter! She is a beauty enthusiast (hair and lipstick) and a dance enthusiast. She enjoys board games, card games, good books, deep conversations, and spending time with her cats. Be sure to say "hello" if you see her on campus and always join in with a move or two if you catch her dancing.
