Pre-Vet Club’s Pet Costume Contest, Carnival Benefit Humane Society

VALDOSTA — Valdosta State University’s Pre-Vet Club will host a Pet Costume Contest and Carnival from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26, on VSU’s front lawn.

All VSU students, faculty, staff, community members, and their pets are welcome. The entry fee for the costume contest is $3 and the competition will begin at 3:30 p.m. Winners will receive a small prize. Divisions include best costume, most school spirit, best in show, best pet/owner look alike, and best trick.

Candy, snacks, and pet treats will be available for $1. Animal trivia, corn hole, and other games will take place during the event.

All proceeds will benefit the Humane Society of Valdosta/Lowndes County.
