Spring Concert Features Kevin Lemons and Higher Calling Saturday, April 12

VALDOSTA – The Valdosta State University Mass Choir will hold its annual spring concert in Jennett Hall at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 12.

The theme of this year’s concert is “It’s a New Season” and features various selections from the mass choir. The event also features gospel choir Kevin Lemons and Higher Calling.

Established in 1996, Kevin Lemons and Higher Calling is a nationally known music ministry comprised of members from Atlanta and surrounding areas. The choir has released two albums and performed with gospel artists such as Fred Hammond, Hezekiah Walker, Donald Lawrence and DeWayne Woods. The choir has also been featured on BET’s Bobby Jones Next Generation as well as Gospel Music Channel’s The Kitchen Sink.

“All attendees can look forward a night of great music and praise,” said Andre Turner, president of the mass choir. “We have held our spring concert for the last eight years and the event is always a success. We are looking forward to another successful year.”
