Native American Culture and Wellness Event to be held Tuesday, Oct. 22

VALDOSTA – Valdosta State University will host a presentation on Native American Culture and Wellness that will be given by Dr. Carol Locust on Tuesday Oct. 22 from 7 to 8 p.m. in Bailey Science Center Room 3009.

Locust is an Eastern Cherokee elder and is an international consultant on wellness and disability for Native American communities. She is a part of the Native American cardiology team at the University of Arizona hospital.

This event is free and open to the public.
