Brookwood Drive is now open for traffic. The university continues to operate under normal schedule.



Update 7:30 a.m. Sept. 21, 2012

Patterson Street is now open, Brookwood Drive is still closed.

The university is operating under normal schedule.

Brookwood Drive and Patterson Street are closed, please use alternate routes.



Sept. 20, 2012

Due to a severe thunderstorm this afternoon in Valdosta and Lowndes County, there are several trees and power lines down around main campus. Faculty, staff, students and visitors to the campus are asked to use care when driving around campus (especially Patterson and Brookwood). The VSU Police and Valdosta City Police are on the scene.

Classes are not canceled for Sept. 20, 2012
