VSU Hosts Fall Explosion 2012

VALDOSTA -- Valdosta State University will welcome new and returning students back to campus with a host of events throughout August as part of its Fall Explosion 2012.

Fall Explosion includes opportunities for students to volunteer, interact with other students through physical challenges and meet members of various student organizations. Among events are free movies, a block party, art activities, informationals and cookouts. The month will conclude with the two largest events of the semester -- The Happening, to be held Thursday, Aug. 23, and the annual 5K Fun Run/Walk, to be held Saturday, Aug. 25.

Fall Explosion events are sponsored by the Residence Hall Association, Campus Activity Board, Student Life, Campus Recreation, Campus Ministries, Odum Library and Student Union.
