Safe Spring Break Fair - Health and Wellness Fair

VALDOSTA -- Valdosta State University’s annual Safe Spring Break Fair will be held in conjunction with the annual Health and Wellness Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 10 in the Student Union Ballrooms.

Sponsored by the Office of Alcohol and Other Drug Education, the Safe Spring Break Fair will provide students with information on alcohol and drug misuse, sexual responsibility, safe driving practices and exposure to the sun. The fair will also feature a DUI course and display a drug kit.

The focus of the Health and Wellness Fair, sponsored by Valdosta State University Campus Wellness Committee, is “activity oriented” with areas dedicated to various health and wellness themes. Prizes and drawings, free massages, food samples, cancer prevention information, health screens, stress reduction, yoga and exercise demonstrations, and personal safety tips will all be provided.

VSU’s spring break is scheduled for Monday, March 14 to Friday, March 18. For students who will remain on campus during the break, the operating hours for the Student Union are as follows:

Friday, March 11 - 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, March 12 & 13 - Closed
Monday, March 14 through Thursday, March 17 - 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Friday, March 18 - 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Saturday, March 19 - Closed
Sunday, March 20 - 11 a.m. to midnight
