'No Boundaries' Art Exhibit

VALDOSTA -- Come enjoy the splendor of abstract art at the "No Boundaries" Spring Faculty Art Exhibit Feb. 22 - March 14 in the Odum Library.

Professors Luis G. Bejarano and Karin Murray present 21 pieces of various media and sizes. Bejarano, associate professor of Modern and Classical Languages, said mixed media artwork is a way for him to experiment with suggestive silhouettes, layers of colorful backgrounds and watercolor textures. Art challenges and renews him, Bejarano said. Murray, an associate professor of Art, has seven pieces of artwork in the showcase. The German native said her multi-media art reveals connections between man, identity and nature.

The event is sponsored by the Department of Modern and Classical Languages, the Department of Art, the Odum Library, Sigma Delta Pi and the Latin American Student Association.
