University Mourns Death of Professor

VALDOSTA - Dr. Robert Hull, professor of Communication Sciences and
Disorders, died unexpectedly Monday, April 6.
“We are deeply saddened by the devastating news of Bob’s death and
our thoughts and prayers are extended to his family and friends,”
President Patrick J. Schloss said. “He was a beloved professor and
avid Blazer fan, he will be greatly missed by this entire
university and community.”
Students currently enrolled in courses taught by Dr. Hull should
report to classes at the normal time.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 11, in the
Chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home. The family will receive
friends on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of
flowers, the family requests memorials made to the Robert A. Hull,
Sr. Scholarship Fund ivia the Valdosta State University Foundation,
