Stuart Little Scurries to VSU
VALDOSTA - The endearing adventures of mouse Stuart Little will
take center stage at 7:30 p.m. this Friday, Feb. 6, and at 10:30
a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, in the Lab Theater, located on the second
floor of the Fine Arts Building.
All the charm, wisdom and joy of E.B. White’s original children’s
book, “Stuart Little” is captured in this stage adaptation by
Joseph Robinette, who also dramatized the highly acclaimed stage
version of “Charlotte's Web.”
VSU Theater & Dance collaborated with the James L. and Dorothy
H. Dewar College of Education to develop educational materials and
lesson plans associated with this production, which the acting
ensemble will perform at schools in South Georgia and North Florida
throughout February and March. The educational materials will
enable area teachers extend lessons learned during the theater
experience into classroom instruction.
Educational materials and lesson plans associated with this
production may be found at: www.valdosta.edu/coe/ecre/StuartLittle.shtml
.
