Georgia WebMBA offers graduate students the chance to studyinternationally
As one of five University System of Georgia institutions
participating in the Georgia WebMBA program, Valdosta State
University has been offering working individuals the opportunity to
pursue a Master of Business Administration degree online. Ranked
among the top 10 online programs for its quality and affordable
cost, the Georgia WebMBA program has added an international twist
to the business educational experience.
Georgia WebMBA has partnered with Anhalt University of Applied
Sciences in Bernburg, Germany, to allow students enrolled in both
programs to collaborate via the Internet to complete projects in
global and international business courses. For the second year in a
row, WebMBA students have also visited Germany, where they worked
with their teammates, visited regional businesses and toured
throughout Germany.
Students are learning about virtual teaming with people from other
countries, while also studying cultural differences through direct
contact. In addition, students have had the chance to study the
economy of Europe and the business of the European Union throughout
the world.
WebMBA students are pleased about the anticipated international
experience. "Thanks to the coordination between Anhalt and the
WebMBA program, I now know that not only do I get to see business
in Europe, I get to experience learning in Europe," said Brian
Week, a WebMBA student.
The five Georgia universities currently participating in the
Georgia WebMBA program are: Kennesaw State University, Georgia
College and State University, Georgia Southern University, The
State University of West Georgia and Valdosta State
University.
