School systems across state seek future educators at Valdosta StateUniversitys Education Career Day

Valdosta State University's Office of Career Services will host its annual Education Career Day on Tuesday, November 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on the mezzanine level in the P.E. Complex.

Over 50 school systems are registered to attend, from counties across the state and the border, and will be looking for potential future employees. Students can schedule interviews with participating school systems during the walk-through session from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Interviews will take place between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.

VSU alumni and current students, as well as others holding or seeking teacher certification, are encouraged to attend. Professional dress is required and those involved should bring several copies of their resumes. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early for greatest exposure to all representatives.

For a complete list of the participating school systems, along with a list of their most needed subject areas, visit www.valdosta.edu/career.
