Special red stoles presented to VSU's Faculty Marshals in advanceof Fall Semester's Commencement Ceremonies

Valdosta State University honored its assistant faculty marshals on Friday, December 10, in advance of VSU's December 11 Commencement ceremonies. The faculty marshal and assistant faculty marshals play a major role in conducting official academic programs like commencements, honors day and special convocations.

Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Louis Levy , spoke to the assistant faculty marshals in a special reception held in VSU's West Hall Rotunda. Levy presented Faculty Marshal Dr. Stan Andrews with a medallion and Andrews in turn presented red Valdosta State University stoles to all of the assistant faculty marshals.
