Area high school students complete VSU writing program

Eighteen gifted students from 10 South Georgia high schools recently participated in Valdosta State University's Young Writers' Fest 2000. At the conference, sponsored by the South Georgia Writing project and by VSU's Department of English, the students listened to lectures and attended writing workshops led by VSU professors, South Georgia Writing Project instructors and Pulitzer Prize nominee Janice Daugharty.
