PACE is dedicated to bringing you lifelong learning programs and activities for adults of all ages. There's something for everyone - Career Development, Leisure Learning, Online Programs, and Learning in Retirement.

 

Learning in Retirement

Online registration is now available; however, payments are not being accepted by the system. Please call our office at 229-245-6484 after registering to make your payment with credit/debit card or drop by our office to pay with cash or check. We are still at the STEAM Center, 1302 N Patterson St, corner of Jane and Patterson Streets in rooms 1005 and 1007.

LIR Spring 2025 Class Catalog

VSU Kids Camps - Spring Break

Registration and complete camp information is coming soon for Spring Break Camps 2025! Keep checking back for updates.

Camps are for rising K-5th graders. Morning and afternoon snacks provided. Supervised lunch period is available for kids staying all day. Lunch not provided - bring a brown bag lunch.

Parents must complete a Minors on Campus packet which will be emailed to them before the first day of camps. Children cannot attend camps without a completed packet on file with the STEAM Center.

Financial Aid for Career Training

  • My Career Advancement Account (MyCAA): Spouses of active duty service members are eligible for up to $4000 in funding to pay for career training programs.
  • Army Credentialing Assistance (Army CA): Provides active duty soldiers, reservists, and up to $4000 per year for courses and exams that lead to industry-recognized civilian credentials in an occupational area of your choice.
  • Sallie Mae Student Loans: You can apply for a Sallie Mae Student Loan for noncredit, career training programs as well as undergraduate education. Call 229.245.6484 for more information or email pace@valdosta.edu.
  • Workforce and Career Services: Telamon provides financial assistance to pay for career training. Telamon serves youth, migrants, seasonal farmworkers, and low-income individuals. Call 229.333.7550 to learn more and find out if you are eligible.
