Bachelors of Music in Jazz Performance (2 lessons/wk degree):

- 3 tunes of contrasting styles with Aebersold tracks (Blues, Medium/Uptempo Swing, Latin). Play the melody and improvise.
Masters of Music in Classical Performance:
- 2 contrasting concertos or sonatas. Full pieces preferred, but single movements accepted
- 5 Orchestral excerpts
- Sight reading at written pitch for low brass. Transposed sight reading for high brass.
Masters of Music in Jazz Performance:
- 1 classical etude or solo and 1 jazz solo transcription
- All Major and Minor scales in all forms
- 6 Pentatonic, diminished or augmented scales of students choice
- 2.5 Octave or more chromatic scale
- Jazz sight reading
- 4 tunes of contrasting styles with Aebersold tracks (Blues, Medium/Uptempo Swing, Latin, Ballad). Play the melody and improvise
