-Windows 10 is the newest operating system utilized on campus computers. For help with the Windows 10, select one of topics listed below:

On January 14, 2020, Microsoft will no longer be providing support for Windows 7. To coincide with Microsoft’s plan of action, Windows 10 has become the established system for most VSU classrooms and labs. Any faculty or staff receiving new computers, will have Windows 10 already installed, and any faculty or staff needing Windows 10 on office computers, please submit a service ticket.

If your personal PC is currently still running Windows 7, your PC will still continue to work after January 14, 2020, but will be more vulnerable to security risks and viruses. The possibility of upgrading your current PC to Windows 10 at this time is only limited to purchasing Windows 10 or purchasing a new PC with Windows 10.
