New Odradek Issue Unveiled Thursday, April 25
VALDOSTA – Valdosta State University’s staff and contributors of the 2012 issue of Odradek, VSU's literary and art magazine, will be unveiling the new issue at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, in the University Center Theater.
Many of the contributors will present their work, and free copies of the magazine will be available. The 2012 issue features art, fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry and graphic storytelling.
"The magazine is a great platform for students seeking to express themselves creatively, and it gives voice to the range of cultures, backgrounds and majors that VSU students represent," said Hannah Bessinger, managing editor. “This issue is one of the best yet because it truly represents the diversity of VSU's student population and their methods of artistic expression.”
The event is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be provided.
Students interested in submitting to next year’s issue should send their work to the following emails:
Fiction: odradekfiction@gmail.com
Nonfiction: odradeknonfiction@gmail.com
Poetry: odradekpoetry@gmail.com
Art: odradekart@gmail.com
