VSU’s “A Christmas Carol” Named Best Play by Broadway World Tallahassee
Valdosta State University Theatre & Dance’s seasonal production of “A Christmas Carol” is the winner of Broadway World Tallahassee’s 2025 Best Play Award. It was adapted for the local stage by Ian Anderson, associate professor of theatre and interim head of the VSU’s Department of Communication Arts.

Peach State Summer Theatre’s 2025 season — “The Wizard of Oz,” “Little Shop of Horrors,” and “A Closer Walk With Patsy Cline”— is the winner of nine Broadway World Tallahassee awards. This includes the highly coveted Favorite Local Theatre honor.
