Student Judicial Council Application

The Student Judicial Council is composed of eleven students, selectively chosen and appointed by the members of the council and staff from the Office of Student Conduct & Title IX. The Judicial Council has vested powers of the student body to hear and recommend sanctions for violations of the Student Code of Conduct. Justices of the Judicial Council are held to the highest of student conduct standards and must adhere to a strict code of ethics. Additionally, Justices serve as student representatives for the Blazer Creed by being hearing panelists, peer educators, and student conduct process advisors.

Candidates should have a minimum 2.5 GPA and a clear disciplinary record. Justices must be of outstanding character and possess high ethical standards. Justices must also be available on Friday afternoons during the academic semester for scheduled meetings and hearings.
