VSU Offers Dozens of Summer Camps for School-Age Children

VALDOSTA — During the 2016 summer, Valdosta State University is offering more than 60 fun and educational camps, covering everything from athletics and the arts to science and computers, for boys and girls ages 5 to 18.

Participants will utilize Lady Blazer practice drills that stress advanced ball handling and passing skills, offense, defense, and game control for point guards, shooting guards, and off guard/small forwards.  Drill work will include post moves and countermoves, post positioning, post passing, body balance, post defense, strength and conditioning, and more.
