VSU Campus Wellness Hosts 2016 Spring Challenge Event

VALDOSTA – In an effort to promote an active and healthy lifestyle, Valdosta State University’s Campus Wellness Committee and Walking Club will host a 2016 Spring Challenge Event: Walk Across Georgia Virtual Walk. The challenge kicks off on Monday, Feb. 29.

Faculty, staff, students, and retirees are encouraged to participate.

Registration is $5 and includes a pedometer for participants to track their cumulative steps. Checks should be made payable to “VSU Foundation.”

There will be drawings for weekly prizes for participants who meet their personal goals.

The VSU Walking Club is open to all faculty, staff, and students with an interest in promoting an active and healthy lifestyle. Membership is free of charge.
