Hometown: Live Oak, FL

Why I love advising: What I enjoy most about advising is getting to know each of my students; I look forward to helping students discover their goals and assisting them map out a plan for achieving them.

Hobbies/interests: I love all things coffee or strawberry flavored and am a big fan of Taco-Tuesday. In my free time, I like to watch re-runs of Gilmore Girls or Grey's Anatomy, go to the beach, read a good book, and be around family.

Fun fact: I am learning modern calligraphy and how to water paint.

Why VSU: Valdosta State became home to me the minute I stepped on our brick pedestrian mall. I love that our campus embraces diversity and values the unique story of each student, faculty, and staff member. As a student, I always felt empowered to achieve my goals and I hope to convey the same message to my advisees.

Areas/Programs I advise: Communication (Interpersonal, Organizational, Public Relations), Mass Media, Emergent media and Communication, Dance, Theatre, Music (Music Education), Music Performance, Art, Art Education, and Interior Design
